The Women's Club of Coconut Creek is a place to meet likeminded women who love to
get involved and support our community. Your membership includes access to our
potluck monthly meetings where we learn new things about our community,
plan for upcoming fundraisers and share our experiences at past events.
We also host monthly member socials for our ladies and their families.

We meet once a month to discuss fundraisers, volunteer throughout the year
at community wide events, setup socials for our women as well as for families,
support our local government, and so much more!
Here are some of our club initiatives which you can sign up for:
Fall Special Committees and Subcommittees
🮖 Firefighter Calendar –The committee coordinates calendar production in partnership with the Benevolent Association. Sales for this committee’s Firefighter Calendar begin at the Fall Festival and continue through January or until sold out.
🮖 Light Up Creek Luminary Sales - This committee coordinates luminary kit sales (candles and paper bags) for the city wide Light Up on December 24. Sales begin at the Fall Festival and continue through December, with members managing both online orders and in person at Donaldson Park and Hometown Market.
🮖 Santa’s Christmas Carnival - This committee plans and hosts a carnival themed lunch on Dec.12 where community members bring their children to meet Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. It coordinates food, entertainment, and crafts, and manages all setup and breakdown on the day.
🮖 “Mamacitas & Margaritas” Women’s Club Rush - This committee plans a Club year opener event held in early September at Papamigos. The focus is a fun evening that welcomes returning members and supports new member recruitment.
🮖 Vender Events (Fall Festival) - This committee organizes the Fall Festival expo area on November 14. Committee helps with pre-planning and day of logistics, including booking vendors, promoting the event, mapping vendor spaces, staffing tables, and assisting vendors. The committee may also explore coordinating a Chili Cook off or hamburger competition at the city’s request.
Spring Special Committees and Subcommittees
🮖 Arbor Day - This committee works to support the City’s initiative by handing out information about membership and club events to the public.
🮖 Book a Bunny to Egg Your Yard – This committee assembles egg packages (ears, chocolate rabbits, and filled eggs) and delivers them in the early morning of Sunday, March 28, to Creek residents who “Book a Bunny to Egg their Yard.”
🮖 Purse Auction & Fashion Show - This committee organizes an online purse auction and an in‑person fashion show with brunch at Silverspot restaurant in February.
🮖 Vender Events (Hearts and Crafts) - This committee organizes the March 1, 2027 Vendor Sale, including both advance planning and day of support. Volunteers help book vendors, market the event, map vendor spaces, staff tables, and assist vendors throughout the day.
🮖 Vender Events (Mother’s Day) - This committee organizes the May 8, 2027 Vendor Sale, including both advance planning and day of support. Volunteers help book vendors, market the event, map vendor spaces, staff tables, and assist vendors throughout the day.
Year Long Committees
🮖 Bingo Night at Sonata Assisted Living - This committee hosts a monthly Bingo Night at Sonata Assisted Living on the third Monday of each month. Members call the games and assist residents so everyone can participate and enjoy the evening.
🮖 Community Relations - This committee promotes our club through the Coral Springs and Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce and similar organizations. It builds relationships with local businesses, shares our mission, and helps secure partners to support the club throughout the year.
🮖 Hometown Market - This committee staffs our WCCC booth at the city’s farmers market twice a month from October through March. We share club information, promote upcoming events, and cover three 1.5 hour shifts per market day, with three volunteers per shift—about 117 shifts over six months.
🮖 Hospitality – This committee makes members feel welcomed at all general meetings through the organizing of snacks, games, and other activities designed for the meetings. This team also assists with organizing the holiday party, scholarships & grants award ceremony, as well as the Annual Banquet in June. Members arrive an hour early to help with setup and stay until the end to assist with cleanup.
🮖 Marketing & Social Media - This committee helps create promotional content that endorses the Women’s Club, its purpose, and its events throughout the year. All materials are reviewed, approved, and then initially shared publicly by club vice president or president through official channels such as social media, the website, email blasts, fliers, banners, and signage that can ultimately be shared by members.
🮖 Membership and Recruitment - This committee welcomes prospective and returning members, shares club information at events, and manages check in at General Meetings. Members work with the Hospitality and Social Activities committees to keep everyone informed, included, and engaged, and may also assist with outreach such as reminder calls, about upcoming meetings and activities.
🮖 Mentorship Program - Committee members organize and facilitate activities for Coconut Creek schools.
🮖 Scholarship & Grant Information Outreach Committee – This committee visits schools and community events to share information about our Annual Scholarship Award and Educational Grants. From this group, members may be asked to serve on the Selection Subcommittees who serve on the application and nomination review processes.
🮖 Social Activities - This committee plans social activities throughout the year for members of all ages to enjoy. Past events have included cooking demonstrations, a Butterfly Trolley Ride with lunch at a local restaurant, and book club discussions with movie viewings. The committee also collaborates with Membership on joint events, so if you enjoy planning fun gatherings and have ideas to share, this is a great place to get involved.
🮖 Student Volunteer Recruitment - This committee recruits student volunteers to help with setup and event support at club activities throughout the year. Participating students earn service hours that count toward their graduation requirements.
🮖 Sunshine Committee - This team works together to assist any club member that needs help for any reason. Members may coordinate meals, cards, or even phone calls to show members in need of care.
